Almost 800-thousand people in Ireland haven't come forward for their first Covid booster.

But new figures show Ireland's booster take-up is the seventh best in the EU, with France recording the highest rate.

Over-65s and those with compromised immune systems can now register for their second booster.

The HSE's national director for vaccinations, Damien McCallion, says there are several places where they can get the jab.
