A 400 monthly payment could be made to those who take in Ukranian refugees.

The Irish Independent says the 400 euro payment is viewed by Government as both an inducement for people to offer accommodation and a way to alleviate the costs incurred in doing so.

It comes amid warnings there'll be a shortage of accommodation by the end of next week.
