Ireland's first 'hydrogen gas valley' will be located in Galway.
Galway Hydrogen Hub will research, produce and use renewable hydrogen gas.
It will eventually be used in transport, industry and in the local community.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin made the announcement in Galway this afternoon, saying seven stakeholders will be involved in the hub.
