Charlie Bird says he is going to fight as hard as he can, despite his voice getting weaker.
The former broadcaster, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, is pressing ahead with plans to climb Croagh Patrick in April to raise funds for a number of charities.
Meanwhile, an Irish company, Marino Software, has worked with Charlie and his wife Claire to virtually 'clone' his voice.
It's so he will be able to communicate with his own voice.
