The winning weekend Lotto ticket, worth over €19 million, was a Quick Pick ticket bought on the day of the draw - last Saturday - at Laura's XL store on Hopkins Road in Castlebar.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winner has come forward, and is now seeking financial and legal advice before collecting the record-breaking jackpot prize.

Laura's XL store is located on Hopkins Road, where champagne corks are being popped and balloon displays are adorning the shop today, as staff from the National Lottery welcome local and national media.
