The 7-day rate of the virus nationally is 256 cases per 100,000 people - it's currently 166 per 100,000 in Mayo, with 217 new cases of the virus confirmed in the county in the past week.
Leitrim and Roscommon both have 7-day rates higher than the national average at present.
