A new van will be presented tomorrow to the O'Dwyer Cheshire Home in Bohola from funds raised during a Christmas lights display last year.

The Coolegrane Lights near Foxford - organised by Kevin and Brendan Hughes -are one of the country's largest displays of lights each year.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, people could also donate through a Go Fund Me campaign last year, and thousands of euro were donated.

Cheshire Ireland was the chosen charity in 2020 - the organisation provides a range of services to people to physical sensory and neurological conditions, who often have very complex and high support needs.

Cheshire Ireland says the ability to fundraise has been decimated over the past 18 months, and they've acknowledged the generosity of all who contributed to the Coolegrane Lights last Christmas, which has purchased a new van to provide transport for service users.
