With increased levels of Covid-19 in the Ballina area, a pop-up test centre will open in the town this morning, and will be in operation today and tomorrow at the Ballina Stephenites ground from 11am to 5 pm both days.

People who do not have symptoms of the virus but are concerned can book a free test.

The HSE has confirmed that the test centre will be available for adults and children.

Tests can be booked on the self-referral online portal, as well as by GP referral.
