The government's date to end Covid-19 restrictions could be brought forward due to the country's high vaccination rates, according to a virologist.

The majority of covid rules are due to be lifted on October 22nd, aside from mask wearing in certain circumstances.

Yesterday saw the second phased easing take place with the return to offices and larger group activities allowed.
