Trolley numbers remain high at Galway University Hospital, with 47 patients on trolleys today at the facility.
The latest figures from the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation show 390 patients being treated on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
In this region, there are 47 patients on trolleys at UHG, 15 at Mayo University Hospital and 7 on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital.
In terms of Covid-19 patients, there are currently 14 being treated at University Hospital Galway.
9 patients with the virus are being treated at Sligo hospital, and 7 at Mayo University Hospital.
