Many hotels, B&Bs, self-catering accommodation and hostels reopened yesterday, as the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions on the tourism and hospitality sector begins.
The Ice House Hotel in Ballina will open their doors tomorrow (Friday) after being closed since October.
The hotel has undergone huge refurbishment works in their restaurant and adding new extension space on to their Spa.
The Manager at the Ice House Niall Kerins says the new spa will be outdoors and will consist of four outdoor seaweed baths, two outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor treatment pod and a new outdoor relaxation space with views over Belleek woods and the Moy Estuary.
He has been telling Midwest Radio's Michael D McAndrew that they are fully booked for July and for a good portion of August.
