A number of premises in Ballaghadereen are experiencing water outages today, following a burst on the old N5 watermain.
Irish Water and Roscommon County Council are working to repair a significant burst, and the repair work is expected to be completed by 4pm this afternoon.
The burst is causing water outages to a number of customers in the Ballaghadereen area.
Irish Water says council staff have been able to divert water to all customers except properties close to the location of the burst, including the Meadowbrook Estate and a number of houses in this area.
People in this area are asked to conserve water where possible while the repairs are underway.
