The Roscommon Women's Network CycleUp Group has won a national award for Outstanding Work in Adult Education.
The upcycling programme trains participants to upcycle textile items from the Roscommon Women's Network charity shop, master skills in sewing, and design and produce products for sale under the Cycleup brand.
The group has won a STAR award at the AONTAS Adult Learners' Festival for Sustainable Development through Education.
A special online event will be held tomorrow (Thursday) to acknowledge the contribution all the shortlisted awards have made to the adult and community education sector.
