The cabinet has agreed to extend the provision of medical cards to the dependents of the women affected by Cervical Check.
At this morning's meeting, Ministers agreed to extend the medical cards of around 1,100 dependents by five years.
The original proposal was for a three year extension to the cards that were due to expire in May.
