IPSOS/MRBI is set to establish a presence in the Mayo Gaeltacht.
The leading market research company will create two full time jobs at the Belmullet gteic hub initially, followed by a further 30 for a mixture of part and full-time positions in the greater Erris area.
A primary call centre is currently being fitted in Belmullet, but it is hoped that IPSOS employees will be able to work from any gteic hub, including those being developed in Aghleam and Cornboy.
IPSOS employs 18,000 people globally and provide market research services to companies online, through one on one interview, by mail and through phone calls.
Training courses are being provided on a partnership basis by Údarás na Gaeltachta and Mayo North East Leader Partnership Company, Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) for locals in the Erris region.
