There has been a slight increase in the number of people in hospital with Covid-19.

1,914 people are currently receiving treatment - up 21 since yesterday.

There are 116 with the virus at Galway University Hospital, 95 at Mayo University Hospital-up 14, 50 at Sligo Hospital- up 4 and 8 at the Portiuncula- up 1.

There are 17 covid patients on critical care beds in Galway- up 2, 4 in Sligo, 3 in the Portiuncula- up 1, and 2 in Mayo.

There are 214 patients in intensive care - a decrease of 1 in 24 hours.

343 critical care beds are open and staffed in the public system, with 24 of those available.
