1,969 people with Covid-19 are receiving treatment in Irish hospitals today - an increase for the second day in a row.
It's up from 1,949 from yesterday, with 132 admissions and 98 discharges across the health service in the past 24 hours.
Last night there were 214 people with Covid-19 in ICU.
The HSE’s daily updates show there were 120 patients with the virus at Galway University Hospital yesterday - down 11, 92 at Mayo University Hospital- down 1, 48 at Sligo Hospital- up 5 and 11 at the Portiuncula.
In terms of covid patients on critical care beds, there were 18 in Galway- up 1, 4 in Mayo- up 1, 3 in Sligo- up 1 and 2 in the Portiuncula.
