1,575 people with Covid-19 are being treated in Irish hospitals this morning.
It's an increase of 149 patients since yesterday morning.
In the past 24 hours there have been 104 admissions and 26 discharges from hospital.
Across the region there are 102 patients with the virus being treated at Galway University Hospital- up 27, 82 in Mayo University Hospital- up 13, 36 in Sligo- up 6 and 6 at the Portiuncula Hospital- down 5 on yesterday’s figures.
There are nine confirmed COVID-19 cases in critical care units in Galway, 3 in Sligo and one at the Portiuncula Hospital.
There are no covid patients on critical care beds at Mayo University Hospital.
There's been 10 percent increase on the number of patients in wards nationally yesterday, while there's been a jump of 111 percent on last Monday.
1,575 patients represent a record number of people with the disease in hospitals for the sixth day in a row.
Last night there were 126 people with the disease being treated in ICU.
