€780,000 in total has been allocated to seven Mayo projects under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
This news has been confirmed by Fine Gael Deputy Michael Ring who says the Town and Village Renewal Scheme is a key part of the Government’s plans for rural regeneration.
The funding allocated to the Mayo projects will be for various measures.
The towns & villages to benefit from this funding are Westport, Kiltimagh, Cong, Straide, Breaffy, Killala and Moygownagh.
