The creation of thirty new jobs in Galway by Enterprise Ireland Companies is a huge boost for the West of Ireland, according to Fine Gael Senator for Roscommon-Galway, Aisling Dolan.
The roles are being created in three Enterprise Ireland supported companies that are based in Galway.
Palliare, a medical device company, has hired 10 new employees in recent months. Founded in 2018, they are dedicated to advancing state of the art smoke evacuation and insufflation technologies.
Flexwork company Ronspot intends to have a total of 10 new employees on board by Spring 2021 and has hired five people since September. Based in the GMIT Innovation Hub in Galway, the company enables flexible workplaces between offices and homes.
Venari Medical filled three new positions in October and has plans to recruit up to 10 new employees in the coming months. They create safe, effective, patient-centred medical devices that improve the quality of life for those with debilitating vascular diseases.
Senator Dolan, the Seanad Spokesperson for Further & Higher Education, Science, Innovation and Research says that the jobs are a vote of confidence in graduates in the West of Ireland.
