There will be no scheduled flights between Ireland West Airport and Britain for the remainder of 2020. That was confirmed this afternoon by a spokesperson for Ireland West Airport Knock.
The Irish Government today extended the ban on flights from Britain until December 31st following fears over a new strain of COVID-19 in the UK.
The measures will be reviewed by Government on January 1st 2021.
The ban applies to all passenger flights with the exception of repatriation flights. Passengers due to travel over the coming days are advised to contact Ryanair.
