Sligo Gardaí are investigating the circumstances around a stabbing incident that took place in Caltragh at approximately 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
One man was brought to Sligo hospital with a number of serious injuries to his body, his injuries were not life threatening.
Two people were arrested soon after, a man and a woman.
They have since been charged with Assault Causing Harm and were subsequently brought before a sitting of the District Court.
During follow up enquiries another man was arrested and found to be in possession of an offensive weapon.
He was also brought before a sitting of the District Court.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
