Four Mayo artists have been selected for a public art commission, recognising the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on Co Mayo.

"Navigating A Future" is the title of the Mayo County Council commission, which gives the artists an opportunity to create new work that reflects on questions, insights and themes that have arisen from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ballina-based visual artist and theatre-maker Áine O'Hara, Breda Burns - a visual artist based in Westport, musician and visual artist Breda Mayock from Castlebar and Westport-based dance artist Catherine Donnelly have been selected by Mayo County Council's Arts Service to develop arts, media, music and dance works relating to the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
