A Euromillions raffle ticket worth over €1 million was sold in the Connemara town of Clifden.

The National Lottery has announced that the "Ireland Only Raffle" winner bought their ticket on Tuesday at the Sweeney Oil service station in Clifden.

The ticket is worth one million and five thousand euro, and the code from the winning ticket is:  I-JXR -67753

People in the Clifden and surrounding areas are being encouraged to check their tickets.

Tuesday's Euromillions draw was the 3rd draw in the "Fortnight of Fortunes" which guarantees to make 5 new millionaires in Ireland over two weeks with a series of Ireland Only Raffle events.

The first two winning tickets were sold in Dublin, and the remaining two winning tickets will be chosen this Friday night.
