Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic in Galway yesterday evening.
The incident occurred at Addergoole, Cloonboo at approximately 5:20pm.
A woman in her 50’s was taken to University Hospital Galway and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
She was later arrested and conveyed to Garda North Western Regional Headquarters – Galway.
She was released pending the submission of a file to the DPP.
Gardaí say enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
