Gardai seized over €19,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb and cash at a house in Ballyhaunis last night.
The discovery was made shortly before 8pm when members of the Mayo Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of a premises in Ballyhaunis town.
Gardai have confirmed that during the search, approximately €17,800 worth of Cannabis Herb was seized, along with €1,400 in cash.
A man in his early 20's was arrested and questioned at Castlebar Garda Station.
He's been charged in connection with the seizure, and is due before Castlebar District Court today.
