In Galway the incidence rate currently stands at 356, in Leitrim its 272 and in Roscommon it is 259 per 100,000 people.
In terms of larger urban areas Galway City Central has a 14-day rate of 981.
Ballyjamesduff in Cavan remains the local electoral area with the highest incidence rate of Covid-19 in the country.
It has more than doubled over the past week to 1,488, while Ratoath in Meath has also grown to 1,212.
