Gluten free toffee popcorn produced in a food company based in Foxford has secured a second national food award in two weeks.
The Gold Award at this year’s annual FreeFrom Food Awards was won by the product Specially Selected Extra Buttery Luxury Toffee Popcorn, supplied by CPAC Food Ltd, in Foxford, to Aldi.
Aldi also won ‘Retailer of the Year’ at the annual FreeFrom Food Awards.
The FreeFrom Food awards are judged by panels comprised of industry specialists, food writers, food bloggers and consumers of FreeFrom products. Judges carry out a blind assessment of each product, judging on the quality of flavour, aroma, texture, ingredients, price and importantly their FreeFrom declarations.
This is the second awards success for CPAC Food's luxury popcorn in recent weeks, having also been recognised at the prestigious international 2020 Great Taste Awards with a Gold Star for the same product, plus a Gold Star for its Specially Selected Sweet and Salty Popcorn, both products produced for Aldi.
Midwest News today congratulated Ian Gaughan, the Managing Director of CPAC Foods Foxford on his company’s continued success.
