Claremorris gardai are investigating the theft of six cattle from a farm yard in Shrule, earlier this week.

The incident was reported to gardai on Wednesday last, October 7th,

Sometime between Monday (5th Oct) at 5 pm and 4pm the next day Tuesday(6th) the six cattle which included Charlolais and Limousin were taken from a farmyard at  Knocknageehe, Shrule.

The location is off the main road between Cross and Kilmaine.

Anyone who may have noticed anything or anyone suspicious in the area on Monday night into Tuesday last are asked to contact Claremorris Garda Station or any garda station.

The distraught owner of the cattle is offering a reward for information relating to their retrieval.
