Under Level 3 restrictions -

Ppeople are asked not to travel outside their county unless they have to travel for work, educational or other essential services, and are advised to work from home unless absolutely necessary to attend.

Schools and creches remain open, with protective measures in place.

Visitors to your home are permitted only from one other household, with no other social or family gatherings.

Up to 25 people can attend weddings, with a maximum of 25 mourners at a funeral.

Religious services and Mass will move to online, while Churches can open for private prayer.

Bars, restaurants and wet pubs can stay open, but with additional restrictions - this means they can operate take-away, delivery and outdoor services to a maximum of 15 people.

Nightclubs and discos remain closed.

Hotel services are limited to residents only.

No matches or sports events can take place, except for elite sport.

Outdoor non-contact training can take place only in pods of up to 15 - with an exemption for professional, elite and inter-county sports.

Gyms and leisure centres can remain open for individual training only.

No indoor exercise or dance classes can take place - individual training only is allowed.

Outdoor playgrounds and parks will remain open, while museums and galleries will close.

Libraries will only be available for e-services and call & collect.

Public transport will operate at 50% capacity, and passengers must wear face coverings.

Hairdressers, barbers and beauticians can remain open, with protective measures in place.

Visits to nursing homes are suspended under level 3, apart from critical and compassionate circumstances.
