Status Yellow weather warnings have been issued for a number of counties across the region tomorrow.
A wind warning comes into effect for Mayo, Sligo and Donegal from 6am tomorrow morning and will remain in effect until 9pm on Sunday night.
While a wind warning for Galway, Clare and Kerry will come into effect at 12 noon tomorrow and last until 10 o'clock tomorrow night.
Northwest winds will strengthen to give mean wind speeds of 50 to 65 km/h and gusts of 90 to 100 km/h.
A Status Yellow rainfall warning comes into effect for Mayo Sligo, Leitrim and several other counties from 7am tomorrow morning and will remain in place until 11pm on Sunday night.
Heavy and persistent rainfall is forecast with totals of 25 to 40mm expected, with higher totals over mountainous areas.
This may result in some rivers flooding as well as surface flooding.
