Gardaí are looking for three men in connection with the burglary of a petrol station in Castlerea during the early hours of Monday morning.
It is believed burglars gained entry to the Daybreak Filling Station on Knock Road by forcing open a door at the rear of the property, before stealing cash registers.
The incident took place between 1am and 7am.
Midwest News understands that a wheelbarrow was taken from Castlerea Golf Club across the road from the premises and was used in the theft.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information or who may have seen any vehicles or individuals acting suspicious around the time between the Arm and Ballindrimley area of the town to contact Castlerea Garda Station on (094) 962 1630, the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
