The Government is warning that the country has shifted away from its trajectory in battling Covid-19 in the past week.
362 new confirmed cases have been reported over the past 7 days.
5 people are now receiving treatment in intensive care units, while 10 people who contracted the virus are in hospital including one at University Hospital Galway.
The Galway hospital is also currently treating 8 suspected cases of Covid-19, while 5 patients suspected of having the virus are being treated at Sligo University Hospital.
