32 new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed by health authorities here today.
No further deaths of people with the virus have been recorded.
The latest figures show there have now been 25,670 confirmed covid 19 cases, after a further 32 were recorded today.
The death toll since the virus broke out here in late February stands at 1,746, with no new deaths reported.
523,000 tests have so far been carried out, including over 49,000 in the past week.
Of those, 157 tests were positive, giving a positivity rate of 0.3 per cent.
Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ronan Glynn says Covid-19 symptoms are similar to those in other ailments and he's urging people experiencing symptoms to assume it is the virus until a GP or test tells you otherwise.
