The Sligo Lifeboat undertook two call outs over the weekend.
The first incident took place at around 5:20pm Saturday evening when a number of swimmers got into difficult close to the outdoor swimming pool in Rosses Point.
The Swimmers eventually made their way back to shore and the lifeboat was stood down.
The second incident occurred yesterday morning at around 11 o’clock when the alarm was raised that a yacht got into difficulty in Sligo Bay.
The Yacht in question, with five passengers onboard, was escorted by the lifeboat back to Shore and nobody was injured in the incident.
