The Archbishop of Tuam has welcomed the reopening of Churches across the region the first time in 19 weeks.

New guidance from Cabinet allows for religious services with attendance of more than 50 people in larger churches.

These churches can separate their aisles into pods to hold a maximum capacity of 50 people and there cannot be movement of people between the sections before, during or after the service.

The Archbishop of the Tuam Dr. Michael Neary has welcomed the end of the “Eucharistic Famine” for parishioners across the West.
