Members of the public are, in places, dropping off bags of donations at Mayo/ Roscommon Hospice Shops, however, all 12 Mayo Roscommon Hospice Shops are closed due to Covid 19 at present and it’s not appropriate, as there is no one there to take the bags in and sort them out.

Angelina Nugent of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation is appealing to the many people that may be undertaking home clear outs as they are forced to self isolate, to please hold on to their bags of donations until the present pandemic is over and everything is back to normal.

If bags are left outside the closed Hospice Shops at this stage, they are simply adding to a litter problem and will be of no value to the foundation.
