Cosmetic Creations has increased the production of its newly launched hand sanitiser by almost 100% due to the continued demand created by Covid-19.
The Claremorris-based company has taken on 20 more staff and 20 new contractors in its Cork and Mayo offices and has redeveloped its sites to meet the demand for Airmedica, which was launched three weeks ago.
Initially planning to produce up to 80,000 units a week, the company this week produced 150,000 units, with output to increase to a maximum capacity of 200,000 units per week.
As well as formulating and manufacturing Airmedica on site, the company is also shipping and distributing the hand sanitiser to customers in the public and private sector, including frontline healthcare staff and retail outlets nationally.
Aiden Corcoran, Owner and CEO of Cosmetic Creations, says they are keeping a limited supply of the product on their online shop CosmeticIreland.com.
