Searches are continuing around the Ceide Fields area of Ballycastle for a missing woman.
55-year old Beatrice Coughlan was reported missing from her home in the Delgany area of Co Wicklow after her car was found at the Ceide Fields in north Mayo last Thursday night.
Gardai were alerted after the car was observed parked at the tourist centre for a number of hours.
Ballina Gardai traced the registration number to Ms Coughlan from Co Wicklow, and her family subsequently reported her as missing.
She's described as 5 ' 3" in height, of slim build with long fair hair.
When last seen, Beatrice was wearing dark trousers, black runners, a beige coat and beige jumper, and her hair was in a ponytail.
Following a request by Gardai, the Coast Guard helicopter, Killala Coast Guard and other emergency services started searching around the Ceide Fields tourist centre and two specialist search dogs were also employed.
The Malin Head coast guard helicopter is involved in ongoing searches of the area today.
While weather conditions have limited the searches, Superintendent Joe Doherty is appealing to local landowners and residents to search their lands and outhouses for any sign of the missing woman.
Superintendent Doherty has thanked the public for their help and co-operation so far, and is appealing to anyone with information on Ms Coughlan's whereabouts to contact Ballina Garda Station at 096 - 20 560.
