Health and housing remain the most important issues for voters, according to the latest Irish Times / Ipsos MRBI opinion poll.
The poll was taken between Thursday and Saturday of last week among 1200 people across the country.
The results confirm the dominant issues of the campaign as health and housing, with 42% of respondents saying health should be the priority for the incoming Taoiseach, and 34% nominating housing.
ON a regional basis, 47% of those polled in Connacht-Ulster say health should be the number one priority for the next Government.
Urban voters and younger voters are more concerned with housing, while rural voters and older people give health a higher priority.
The economy, climate change and Brexit barely registered - with 12% saying the economy should be the priority issue, 6% said climate change and 3% said Brexit.
The margin of error in his poll is estimated at 2.8%.
