Mayo County Council is inviting the general public to “have their say” as it is currently in the process of preparing the authority’s Corporate plan 2019 -2024.
The Corporate Plan will set out the objectives around the organisation’s operational activity, governance and performance management over the next 5 years.
The Plan will outline a vision for the kind of County the authority wants to see in the future and the actions it will take to deliver on these ambitions.
Director of Services at Mayo County Council, Catherine McConnell invites members of the public to get involved and is encouraging anyone who would like to make a submission to contact the authority.
All submissions should be received no later than Friday 24th of this month (Jan)
She told Midwest News today that the impending commencement of the County Development Plan will give the public another opportunity to participate in shaping a shared vision for the development and enhancement of Mayo.
She’s been explaining that it will be a busy year of public submissions to the authority.
