The annual Mayo’s Careers Fair takes place tomorrow at GMIT’s Castlebar campus.
Over 50 stands, including third-level and Post-Leaving Certificate colleges, apprenticeship providers, and employers have been confirmed for the event.
Last year, in excess of 1500 people attended the one day fair.
It takes place from 11am to 3pm tomorrow and is free of charge to senior cycle and pre-senior cycle students, their families, teachers, guidance counsellors and lifelong learners.
Lecturer at GMIT Dr Janine McGinn, will be giving one of the many talks tomorrow and she’s been telling Midwest News today more about what’s on offer for both senior cycle students and adult learners.
