Transport Infrastructure Ireland and Roscommon County Council must resolve barriers to upgrade works on the N4 when they meet.
That’s the view of Fianna Fail TD Eugene Murphy who raised his frustration with the Minister for Transport Shane Ross, alongside Eamonn Scanlon TD and Marc McSharry TD.
Two junctions on the N4 at Cootehall and Croghan are awaiting approval to move on to upgrading works.
Minister Shane Ross says that TII has given the go ahead to the projects and that the delay is on the part of Roscommon County Council.
Deputy Murphy told Midwest Radio News that he wants TII and the Council to resolve any issues stopping the upgrade works when they meet with the Minister.
