GMIT Mayo is opening its doors to the public today until 1pm to showcase its range of full and part-time courses across the departments of Nursing & Health Sciences, and Social Care, Business, Humanities and Technology Business, and the unique Outdoor Education course.

The Open Morning event in Castlebar is expected to be attended by hundreds of secondary level students from schools across the region, as well as parents and mature learners interested in part-time upskilling, lifelong learning and Springboard courses.

All visitors will have an opportunity to tour Mayo Campus, see the facilities including the outdoor classroom and visit information stands on all programmes.

Staff and students will be on hand to talk about the many services available to support students during their time at third level.
