The Dáil should be recalled over the ongoing farming dispute, according to a Beef Plan representative.

Farmers continue to protest outside some meat factories - but they've been temporarily suspended at two plants in the southeast to allow Chinese inspectors to visit them.

Some factories are taking legal action against protesters, with Dawn Meats returning to the High Court today.

Beef Plan's David Whelehan wants the Agriculture Minister to hold another round of talks to try to resolve the dispute.
