A unique model of Knock Village as it was in 1879 is to unveiled today, on 140th anniversary of the Apparition.
The village recreation of Knock as it was in 1879 will be launched in Knock Museum as 12 noon, in association with a seminar entitled "19th Century Mayo -Place, People and the Knock Apparition.
Meanwhile the Archbishop of Tuam Michael Neary will lead the apparition celebrations today, and will be chief celebrant at the Novena Masses at 3pm and 8pm.
The blessing of the new Processional Statue of Our Lady of Knock will take place during the 3 o'clock Mass, and a Witnesses Walk will take place this evening at 7pm.
The National Novena in Knock draws to a close tomorrow (Thursday) with special guest Fr Peter McVerry- founder of homeless charity the Peter McVerry Trust - addressing pilgrims.
