Hundreds of events and displays are underway this week around the region as part of 2019 National Heritage Week.
In Ballina, at the Jackie Clarke Collection, they are gone back in time in the movie/ cinema era and are presenting old movies from 1912 to 1962.
They have converted, the former classroom building at the museum, into an old cinema/theatre for the occasion.
On Wednesday they will focus on “pastimes” and will have a wide selection of board games to play and enjoy.
Anne Marie Forbes the Community Development and Volunteer Co-ordinator with the Jackie Clarke Collection told Midest News today that it’s an exciting week at the facility.
