There should be a review into the decline in adoptions in Ireland.
That's according to Fianna Fáil's spokesperson on children, Galway based TD Anne Rabbitte.
A new report shows adoptions in Ireland have fallen by 40 per cent over the past five years.
In 2013, there were 188 domestic and foreign adoptions into Ireland, but only 113 last year.
Deputy Rabbitte's calling for a review to see why the numbers are dropping.
