A man’s body was taken from the lake in Loughglynn yesterday afternoon.
It is believed the discovery of the man’s body was linked to a search for a man in his fifties who had been reported missing earlier this week.
Meanwhile in a separate incident, a woman’s body was discovered in a house close to Carrowbehy yesterday.
It is believed the woman may have been dead for some time.
Gardai are not treating the deaths as suspicious.
