Adrian Doherty from Down Syndrome Mayo joined Tommy Marren this week to chat about the organisation's attempts to turn a house left to the society by the late Máirteen Campbell into a regional centre for children and adults with Down Syndrome and Autism. He outlined the work that they hope to carry out on the house and the help they have been receiving from people around the region as they try and raise money, all without Government funding. You can listen back to the interview here and also you can check out our visit to the house to see more of the gift that Máirt Campbell bequeathed the community at large.
You can donate to the ongoing GoFundMe Page to help with the transformation of the house here - http://bit.ly/2QXlzA3
